After My Best Friend and I Transmigrated into a Book, Our Escape Plan Failed

The sky had fallen. When Bai Xiyue woke up, she discovered she had transmigrated into a book, and not just any book, but the trashy, melodramatic novel she had written when she first started out. Worse still, she had become the hapless wife of the eldest young master of the Leng family.

She thought that was dramatic enough, but then things got even more absurd: Bai Xiyue realized that her brother-in-law’s new bride looked just like her best friend.

There was no time to waste. The two cuties started plotting their escape, but they were caught almost as soon as they began.

…

“Xiaoxiao, do you have any money? Let’s go shopping.”

“You’re the one to talk. Look at that lousy novel you wrote. Leng Moli doesn’t even like me, so how would I have any money? I did have a little, but they took it all.”

To have money to spend and male models to admire in the world of the book, the two best friends had no choice but to cling to their respective husbands.

…

“Yueyue, is your novel really like this? My back is about to kill me.”

“Waaah, Xiaoxiao, don’t even get me started. I’m dying too.”

With no other choice, the two cuties shut their eyes and tried to run away, but who knew they’d be caught and brought back as soon as they reached the hotel?

Yueyue was exhausted, but she kept it to herself.

The male lead notices something is off within the first few chapters, and the female lead doesn’t bottle things up: she tells him outright that she transmigrated.

If you don’t like this kind of setup, please move along.
