[Two female leads, mainly older woman/younger woman, both strong, physically and emotionally devoted, rekindled love, a touch of angst, exclusive devotion, HE]

[Gentle, restrained, brilliant in both intellect and combat, older bodyguard vs. flirtatious, proud, play-the-pig-to-eat-the-tiger younger superstar]

[Set in a fictional world. Don't compare it to reality. Everything serves the story, so don't overanalyze it.]

She hears her ex-girlfriend's name again and learns that she's become the owner of a top security company.

Su Zhaozhao: This is the perfect chance to get revenge for the way she left without a word back then!

In public, she's a fragile, breathtakingly beautiful celebrity who can't even open a bottle. Behind the scenes, though, she uses every trick in the book to force her ex-girlfriend into becoming her personal bodyguard!

Su Zhaozhao: “Bodyguard Lin, I'm scared of the dark at night. Stay outside my bedroom and hum me a lullaby~”

Lin Qinghuai: “...Miss Su, that's not part of my security duties.”

Su Zhaozhao: “Bodyguard Lin, the grape skins are too tough. I can't peel them.”

Lin Qinghuai: “...I'll peel them.”

Su Zhaozhao expected to see the woman break down and beg for mercy, but her ex was not only a one-woman fighting force, she also silently put up with every bit of harassment.

Then one day, Su Zhaozhao accidentally dropped and broke the keepsake from back then, only to discover a yellowed letter hidden inside:

If I can survive, will you still want me?

Su Zhaozhao: ???

Wait a minute!

So after all that, you didn't abandon me back then. You thought I didn't want you?!

Su Zhaozhao drops her sweet, innocent act and corners the refined, reserved bodyguard in a corner. “Lin Qinghuai, you're going to pay me back for all eight years of this, slowly, tonight!”
