Metaphysics HR: From the Start, I Hired a Nine-Tailed Fox

[Comedy] [Metaphysics] [Strong Female Lead] [Uncomplicated Power Fantasy] [Quirky Ensemble Cast]

Shen Tingsi, a star HR manager at a Fortune 500 company, furiously quit her unscrupulous boss and returned to her village to inherit the nearly bankrupt Shanhai Labor Services Company.

She thought she would just find jobs for the villagers. Then she opened the employee register and discovered that none of her staff were human!

To help the great demons remain legally in the human world, Shen Tingsi launched a no-nonsense reemployment program:

The nine-tailed fox of Qingqiu? Make it a beauty influencer. Whoever it puts makeup on spills the truth, making it the perfect cure for scumbags and fake sweethearts!

The ancient ferocious beast Taotie? Set it up as a top-tier star in food streaming. It eats bad luck and ominous energy, devouring them until corrupt capitalists go bankrupt overnight!

The deep-sea octopus monster? Send it to a big tech company as a programmer. With all eight hands typing at once, it can single-handedly make hackers across the internet weep!

At first, the whole internet mocked the company as a scam.

That is, until a corrupt master of the occult came to challenge them with a soul-snatching curse, intent on capturing the great demons by force.

Shen Tingsi flung a copy of the Labor Law and a performance review form at him. “You want to touch my employees? Pay their insurance contributions and overtime first! Not paying? Shut the gates and let Taotie loose!”

Watching the master of the occult get ground into the dirt by the great demons, Shen Tingsi sneered. “Times have changed. On my turf, even immortals have to clock in first!”
