Livestreaming Appraisals: This Clay Buddha Was Made Last Week!

Lu Changming, a leading archaeologist of his generation, transmigrates to a parallel world, binds himself to the [God-Tier Holographic Treasure Appraisal System], and begins livestreaming to the entire internet.

His livestream isn’t about appraisals. It’s all about feng shui and prison sentences!

“Friend, your jade disc is genuine, but look at that bloodstained soil embedded in it. You’re in serious legal trouble! You’re looking at three years at minimum, ten at most!”

“Friend, I don’t know if your bronze ding is from the Xia, Shang, or Zhou dynasty, but with formaldehyde in that patina, it’s probably from last week!”

“Friend, you really shouldn’t wear that blood pendant! It’s steeped in a terrible evil spirit. You’re guaranteed to have eight bouts of bad luck in three days. Hm? You insist on wearing it? You’ll be fine. The state will take care of your food and clothing for the rest of your life, because you’re about to go to prison!”

The viewers are stunned: “We asked you to appraise treasures. Why are you moonlighting as a fortune-teller and a judge?”

Just as the whole internet starts doubting him, the head of the city bureau’s criminal investigation team drops into the livestream and sends a string of rockets:

“Is Master Lu streaming? Teams One and Two are standing by. Give us the addresses from your calls, Master. We’re ready to cross provincial lines and make arrests!”

Lu Changming can only spread his hands helplessly. “I’m really just a legitimate treasure appraiser. Friends, appreciate art all you want, but don’t dabble in the occult!”
