The Little One Recognizes Her Family with a Bottle in Her Mouth, and Her Uncles Spoil Her Rotten

[Period Setting] [Mighty Little Foodie] [Actually a Tiny Child] [Animal Communication] [Everyone's Favorite] [Silly] [No Romance]

Hanbao is three and a half years old this year, and she's every bit as sturdy and mighty as her name suggests!

The little girl is frighteningly strong, eats an astonishing amount, and was born able to understand birds and animals.

Her parents died when she was young, so Hanbao was sent to live with her eldest uncle's wife.

Life was hard and food was scarce. One dark, windy night, her aunt cruelly threw her out.

Was Hanbao going to put up with that? No way!

With a glass baby bottle in her mouth, Hanbao hurried back in the middle of the night and kicked the wooden door of her aunt's house clean off its hinges!

“If you don't want to raise me, fine! I don't want to stay here either!”

“Mom said I have three uncles! If there's no place for Hanbao here, there'll be a place for her somewhere else!”

Clutching her bottle, she set off alone to find the uncles she'd never met.

But when she arrived, Hanbao was stunned.

Could anyone really live in this shabby earthen house, with wind blowing in from every direction and the whole place ready to collapse?

She rubbed her round eyes hard.

That's right! The buzz-cut man at the door looked exactly like her mother!

The whole village was waiting for a good show: three poor bachelors and one little tagalong who ate a lot and caused trouble. There was no way they'd manage to get by!

But then

Eldest Uncle: “Hanbao wants meat? I'll go hunting in the mountains!”

Hanbao: “No need to trouble yourself. Brother Wu, I'm hungry!”

Second Uncle: “Anyone who dares bully our Hanbao can eat my fist!”

Hanbao: “Silly Uncle, fighting hurts. Brother Tiger, someone's bullying me!”

Third Uncle: “All the candy is for Hanbao. There's plenty!”

Hanbao pouted in disdain. “Third Uncle, you didn't rob Little Honey's house, did you?”
