Ridiculous System: I Get Paid to Sleep on Livestream

Jiang Xian is laid off after being crushed by workplace rat race culture, then unexpectedly binds to the [Keep It Simple, Great Dao Livestream System].

He thinks he'll have to go wild on livestream, eat mustard, or jump into an icy river to make money. But the System's tasks are more absurd than the last:

[Today's task: Prove you're still alive (just breathe in front of the camera for five minutes)]

[Today's task: Demonstrate human sleep (go live and sleep for an hour)]

Jiang Xian gets it. This is just getting paid to slack off! He's in!

And so the weirdest streamer on the entire internet is born.

Other livestreams: The streamer screams for big spenders to send gifts and performs sexy dances.

Jiang Xian's livestream: The place is empty, with only a note left behind: "The streamer went to the bathroom. Chat among yourselves."

His haters go wild: "You call this a livestream? Reported!"

But a frosty female CEO worth hundreds of billions showers him with ten Carnival gifts: "Shh, don't make noise. Watching him sleep cured my severe insomnia. Think of it as me tucking him in with an electronic blanket."

The countless viewers are utterly defeated and beg Jiang Xian to do something:

"Bro, could you at least perform drinking water? Stop spacing out!"

In the midst of the internet-wide uproar, Jiang Xian yawns. "Today's breathing task is complete. I'm signing off. See you tomorrow."

Viewers across the internet: "??? You couldn't even be bothered to humor us for one more second!"
