Tomb Raiding: My Five-Year-Old Daughter Arrives and Forces Wu Xie to Make Money

When Zhang Suisui was five, what she feared most wasn't zongzi or ghosts. It was her whole family going bankrupt and being driven out onto the streets by creditors.

That's because the future Wu Xie always used his tomb-raiding adventures as bedtime stories, scaring her by saying, "Your dad owes three hundred billion. You'll have to pay it all back someday."

One day, Suisui woke up in pink piggy pajamas and fell into the Golmud Sanatorium, along with her Heavenly Dao dimension.

Young Wu Xie said, "I don't have a daughter."

Suisui clung to his wallet. "You do now. Dad, stop wasting money!"

When she turned and saw Zhang Qiling, she rushed over and called him Daddy. Black Glasses had barely crawled out of his coffin before she was already chasing after him with an abacus, demanding the fifteen billion he owed.

From then on, while others entered tombs to uncover secrets, Suisui tagged along to calculate the costs. When Wu Xie wanted to protect cultural relics, she first asked if he'd collected the legal reward. When Black Glasses tried to dodge his debt, she blocked the door with spirit spring water and a repayment plan.

But the future she accidentally let slip grew more and more grim. A Ning would be bitten by a snake, Pan Zi would sing one last song in the ancient building, and Zhang Qiling would enter the bronze gate and not return for ten years.

As the regrets from her bedtime stories drew ever closer, the five-year-old little miser finally realized that what she truly wanted to protect was never the three hundred billion, but every person who had promised to come home to her.
