A Gofer at the Underworld's Outpost, I Keep the Netherworld in Line with Comedy

Strange and mysterious events are appearing one after another. Watch as a good-for-nothing young man with an unexpected side uses ridiculous antics to overcome one crisis after another!

Lin Yan is universally regarded as the bottom of the barrel in the yin-yang trade. Born with a special fate, he can't understand a single orthodox method, and usually just does odd jobs and slacks off at the establishment.

Everyone mocks him as useless, unaware that he possesses a one-of-a-kind method of dispelling evil through sincerity of heart.

Strange omens plague those around him? No need for magical artifacts or secret techniques. A few unconventional words of guidance are enough to dissolve their lingering obsessions. Bizarre entanglements left over from years past, knots in the heart and delusions that are hard to resolve, all the thorny problems that leave others helpless are no match for his ridiculous antics.

The establishment's several companions, each with a wildly different personality, take turns starring in farces: the aloof powerhouse loves showing off but repeatedly falls flat; the mischievous one is always causing trouble and laughs; the companion who has seen it all chooses to lie flat; the aloof figure keeps getting pushed to the brink by his antics; and one well-informed know-it-all has access to all kinds of secret gossip.

There is also an enforcer of order who scrupulously follows the rules, but is gradually led astray by him.

Strange incidents are on the rise, the system of order is riddled with flaws, and a conspiracy spanning a thousand years is quietly taking shape. The balance of the world is on the verge of collapse.

Everyone else relies on secret arts to suppress trouble and rules to judge right and wrong. Lin Yan alone takes a different path.

He uses no talismans, chants no incantations, and refuses to be bound by rigid dogma. An ordinary man, guided by the sincerity of his heart, he quells the countless disturbances of the world and restores order to a world thrown into chaos!
