I Was Born an Immortal of the Great Dao

[Mystery and the supernatural + feng shui and secret arts + mild horror + tales of demons and ghosts + no female lead + a protagonist who really knows his food]

Zhao Feng was once a Great Dao Immortal who had cleaved through the Nine Abysses. Who could have guessed that, after one sudden fall from grace, he would end up as the mad immortal of this beggars' den?

Everyone calls him crazy.

No one believes he once split the Nine Abysses with a single sword strike, much less that he now survives by eating ghosts and is lucid for only two hours a day.

In a ruined temple on West Street in the eastern market stands a deity statue missing half its head.

Like him, it fell out of the Nine Abysses.

The Demon Suppression Bureau, the Ghost Exorcism Bureau, undercurrents stirring among the four kingdoms, and demons and ghosts running rampant across forty-eight provinces.

They ask him: Are you a madman or an immortal?

A madman? An immortal?

Heh heh heh.

I am a Great Dao Immortal, and with one sword I cleaved through the Nine Abysses!

The Nine Abysses have nine levels, and none lets anyone leave alive!
