The Author's Hilarious Daily Life at Love Apartment

Mystery novelist Gu Yan moves into Apartment 3603 in Love Apartment, seeking the perfect quiet place to shut himself away and meet his deadline. He expects long nights filled with inspiration, but from the start he gets swept into the power struggle between Hu Yifei and Zeng Xiaoxian. His life is instantly cut off from anything resembling peace!

Here, he puts his first-rate powers of deduction to use solving bizarre cases cooked up by his neighbors. Faced with Zi Qiao's tall tales, Guan Gu's idiom crises, and Zhan Bo's hardcore confessions, Gu Yan always appears refined and composed, while quietly setting traps with a straight face and watching everyone blunder into them with a sly smile. And among this band of eccentric neighbors, he happens to meet the elegant beauty Qin Yumo, who keeps walking through the wrong door and forgetting things. These two equally matched adults embark on a whirlwind of mutual probing and flirtation, with undercurrents running deep, only to be constantly thrown into fits of laughter and tears by their friends' misguided attempts to play matchmaker.

See how this seemingly gentle and refined, max-level author, who often can't keep his ridiculous teammates in line, manages to rewrite every regret in this extraordinary apartment with an iron hand, all while enjoying a sweet, heartwarming romance amid the hilarious everyday chaos!
