Maoshan Green Register: The Yin-Yang Battlefield

In 1937, smoke from the Battle of Shanghai engulfed the land. Maoshan Taoist Zhang Shaoling descended the mountain on his master's orders. Along the way, he stumbled upon a shocking conspiracy: a group of sorcerers was hiding among the Japanese forces, harvesting the souls of soldiers and civilians with secret arts to clear the way for the invaders.

He carried a chipped stone seal, and his left eye could peer into the realms of Yin and Yang. His Maoshan talismans and Nine Palaces formations were the bane of demons and evil spirits. When shikigami attacked the formation, he performed the steps of the Big Dipper. When ghost soldiers cleared the way, he used blood-written talismans to subdue their souls.

He guarded the defenders, guided the souls of the dead, broke evil formations, and fought Japanese sorcerers. He would make the enemy understand: Someone is watching over China's mountains and rivers, and not a single Chinese soul will be taken away.

The Taoist arts and love of country endure together. So long as the blood talismans remain, the Taoist heart will live on.
