Great Tang: The Rebellious Wei Buqi Drives Li Shimin Up the Wall

Wei Buqi transmigrates to the Tang Dynasty and becomes the dutiful son of Wei Zheng.

From the start, he is framed by political enemies and lands himself a luxurious private cell in death row, with execution set for four days later.

At this crucial moment, the young Crown Prince Li Chengqian, not yet corrupted, comes to inspect the prison.

Wei Buqi pats Li Chengqian on the shoulder. "Nephew, I can tell you're destined for greatness. Want to become an emperor for the ages who can crush Tibet and the Turks beneath his heel? Listen to me: first, go mine the silver in Japan, then head to the Americas and seize some potatoes!"

A few days later, Li Chengqian, thoroughly brainwashed, brings Li Shimin to the prison.

Li Shimin: "So you're the one who wants me to go overseas and become a pirate to stock up on goods?"

Wei Buqi silently takes out a world map. "Your Majesty, think bigger. This is called claiming it has belonged to us since ancient times!"

Wei Zheng looks at potatoes rolling all over the ground, then at Li Er, who is wailing about setting sail to conquer the world. Trembling, he draws his Seven Wolves belt. "You rebellious brat! What have you done to His Majesty?!"
