Founding the Song at Sea: Turning the Tide at Yashan

He transmigrates into Zhao Bing, the child emperor and last ruler of the Southern Song. The Battle of Yashan is imminent, two hundred thousand soldiers and civilians are trapped on an isolated island, and the eternal tragedy of a fallen dynasty ending in a plunge into the sea is right before his eyes! Zhang Shijie is about to make a last stand on hopeless ground, Lu Xiufu is about to carry the emperor to his death, the Great Song is on the verge of total collapse, and Chinese civilization is about to be cut off.

Returning with the memories of a thousand years in the future, he refuses to let the tragedy of Yashan happen again! The young emperor defies all opposition and fate itself, decisively abandons the hopeless position, and leads the surviving ships to break through, sailing south with his officials and people. Based in Hainan, he develops Taiwan, fights across the South Seas, and controls the Strait of Malacca. Against all odds, he builds an unprecedented maritime Song dynasty across the vast ocean!

He gives the people time to recover, trains his troops, expands his territory, and takes control of the South Seas’ trade lifelines. He lies low, secretly connects with loyalists, and waits for unrest within the Yuan court. When war erupts in the north and Yuan defenses are left empty, he leads three armies north, recaptures the lost lands south of the Yangtze, and sweeps away the powerful enemies beyond the northern frontier!

He saves a crumbling empire and continues the Han legacy in its darkest hour! From then on, Yashan has no more tragic ballads. The Han spirit rises over the ocean, and a new Great Song, commanding the South Seas and looking down upon the world, stands proudly among the nations!
