Reborn Crime Boss: The Whole Crew Goes Legit and Takes on the Internet

Lu Ze was reborn in 2010 as the head of the country's largest underworld syndicate, the Longteng Commerce Association.

Looking at his underlings, a bunch of enforcers and gang leaders who shouted about fighting and killing every day, and thinking about the coming crackdown on organized crime, Lu Ze made a decision that went against everything his ancestors stood for:

"All of you, put down your knives, put on suits, and let's get into the internet business!"

And so, the whole business world took on a completely different look.

When their food delivery platform was hit with malicious bad reviews, a former top enforcer led hundreds of brothers over to "verify the situation," making their delivery service the most efficient in the city.

When a competitor pulled the plug on their internet connection in the middle of a business war, a hundred thousand bare-chested men formed a "street promotion team" and sat outside the rival's office every day to "talk things through."

The dealers from the underground casinos reinvented themselves as top livestream sellers, while the gangsters who used to collect debts became champions of shared-bike street promotions...

A few years later, when the richest man in the country, Lu Ze, was interviewed by Time magazine, he spread his hands helplessly:

"At first, I really just wanted to help my brothers earn a living. Who knew I'd end up turning the company into a Fortune Global 500 business?"

Even the big shots in the government were baffled: "We were hoping to catch you doing something wrong. How did you end up becoming the country's biggest taxpayer?"
