The Legendary Life of Zhou Meiling, the Village Belle

In 1985, Zhou Meiling, the village beauty, was twenty-three when she gave herself to Xu Zhiyuan, the man she had loved for three years.

A month later, she was pregnant. But Xu Zhiyuan fell for someone else in the provincial capital and told her to get rid of the baby.

Desperate, Zhou Meiling threw herself into the river, only to be rescued by a stranger named Lu Zhenhua. She thought her life was over, never imagining that the best days of her life were only just beginning.
