I, Emperor Li Shiming of Tang, Am the Fiercest Bandit in Journey to the West

The good news: I transmigrated into Li Shiming, emperor of the Tang Dynasty.

The bad news: This is the world of Journey to the West, where the emperor is nothing but a puppet of Heaven and the Buddhist sect.

In my previous life, I was a notorious bandit. Now that I’ve finally transmigrated into an emperor, how could I hand the Tang Dynasty over to the gods and Buddhas in the heavens?

Saving the Tang Dynasty takes three steps. First, kidnap Tang Sanzang and make myself a holy monk of the Great Tang. Second, take in the monsters along the way under the name “Tang Sanzang,” steadily building my strength. Third, march straight on Mount Lingshan, send troops against Heaven, and establish an everlasting Tang Dynasty!

The three-year deadline has arrived. Tang Sanzang ascends Mount Lingshan and looks at the Tathagata Buddha seated high on the lotus throne. “This humble monk has come from the Great Tang in the Eastern Land. I have come to the Western Heaven specifically to ask you, Buddha, to step down!”
