(No brainless wish fulfillment + no System + infinite flow + mild horror)
[Three thousand a day: the price of your life]
Zeng Cheng is tricked into a variety show by a bizarre contract.
The pay is three thousand a day, and the filming location is a century-old haunted house that devours people.
Volume One, The Ode of Immortality (Complete): When the paper dolls in the old mansion smile eerily at Zeng Cheng, when Miss Zhou's groom looks exactly like him, and when the person in the mirror recites, word by word, the past Zeng Cheng has forgotten... he finally learns his fate.
Volume Two, Model Student (Ongoing): Under the moonlight, the rotting corpses begin to twitch one by one. A grinning face, gnawed nearly to pieces, suddenly opens its bloody maw and lunges at the students in the school. Zeng Cheng grins viciously. “Let this twisted school become the offering for your resurrection!”
On screen
Every word spoken by the actors is a desperate cry for help.
Off screen
Countless mysterious beings frantically send gifts over the actors' gruesome deaths.
When Zeng Cheng sees thousands upon thousands of copies of himself sitting in the audience, he finally realizes that all the actors are pawns.
And the role he has to play is in a script written before he was even born.
[Shh, don't give away your identity. The audience is fighting to buy movie merch made from your corpse...]
“Sometimes, I really forget who I am.”
With a bitter smile, Zeng Cheng gives his life to deliver the perfect final curtain call.
It looks pretty good now, is there a female lead?
The plot is very interesting and intertwined. The protagonist's IQ is above average. I personally don't feel that there is anything bad about it at the moment.
The writing is okay. There is a guy named Cheng Shi, and your name is Zeng Cheng. I hope you can write more than him and be more awesome.
