Zhang Wei, heir to the Xiangxi corpse-driving tradition, is ordered by his father to leave home for the summer and escort a “client” who died far from home back to their hometown. To save on travel expenses, he rides the client like a shared bicycle. Along the way, he drives off a yellow weasel demanding a title, and his antics stun the 749 Bureau, which forcibly recruits him. With high-speed joyrides and all sorts of ways to order paranormal beings around, he leaves the base strewn with coffins and kicks off a hilarious yet thrilling day-to-day life working for a special department.
