70: I Transmigrated Into a Book and Became the Women's Director, Constantly Gabbing About the Drama

Liu Qing, a modern-day young woman, transmigrates into a story about a woman who follows her husband to the military in the 1970s, becoming a doomed first wife destined for a tragic fate.

In her previous life, the original Liu Qing and her two children were mercilessly exploited and tormented by her wicked mother-in-law. She worked tirelessly and never had enough to eat, until she froze and starved to death in the bitter winter. Her poor children died alongside her, leaving her family destroyed and her life in tragedy.

When she opens her eyes again, Liu Qing has been reborn at a crucial moment: escaping famine and finding refuge on an island. Having experienced the original body's gruesome fate firsthand, she tears up her timid, submissive persona once and for all! Faced with a vicious mother-in-law who keeps pushing her around and trying to control her, Liu Qing meets force with force and fights back fiercely. She won't give an inch as she protects her children and their peaceful life, determined to rewrite their tragic ending.

With her modern way of thinking and practical, dependable approach, Liu Qing is soon elected director of the women's committee in the military housing compound. From then on, the compound's absurd family dramas, neighborhood disputes, and all manner of ridiculous daily hassles have a nemesis of their own! Fair and decisive, she takes on scheming and melodrama, tears into troublemakers, and resolves conflicts, leaving everyone watching with bated breath and cheering her on.

And Liu Qing doesn't stop at sorting out domestic squabbles. She leads all the women in the compound to become self-reliant and earn extra income, strengthening the logistics and supporting development of the island military district. She turns the harsh, impoverished 1970s into a life full of warmth and steadily growing prosperity. Breaking free from the chains of fate and raising her young children safely, Liu Qing builds a dazzling, spirited life of her own on the island, surrounded by blue skies and clear seas!
