My Skin-Hungry Wife Makes the First Move, and Mr. Qi Is Hooked

[Marriage first, love later / whirlwind marriage + both leads are devoted to each other + slow-burn romance / sweet story]

A cool beauty with a need for skin contact * a proud, aloof, devoted man in power

A family reunion changed the arranged marriage partner, binding the cool, indifferent, ruthless head of the Qi family to the eldest daughter Jiang Yin had only just been reunited with in the Jiang family. Jiang Yin was independent and resilient, never clingy and never one to talk too much. Qi Chengyue was quite satisfied with the arrangement. They agreed not to interfere in each other’s lives and quickly got their marriage license.

That afternoon, Jiang Yin put on a cool, beautiful expression and said, “I’ll be busy for the next half month. Do you want to try now?”

“Let’s do it.”

Afterward, Jiang Yin was busy studying and starting a business, while Qi Chengyue was away on business trips for half a month at a time. Apart from their marital duties, they kept out of each other’s way. Months passed, and one night, the two held each other close and kissed. Qi Chengyue bit her lip.

“Jiang Yin, are you trying to hook me?”

In bed, she clung to his neck, full of dependence. The moment she got up, she acted as if he didn’t exist.

Jiang Yin’s eyes were hazy and innocent. “I’m not...”

Hadn’t they agreed not to interfere in each other’s lives? She was already trying to restrain her instinct to get closer to him.

Qi Chengyue searched her eyes for the answer, then pulled her close and kissed her deeply.

Half a year later, she planned to leave him behind and settle abroad to study.

Qi Chengyue was the last to find out. The man completely lost control. That night, Jiang Yin thought he was especially wild.

But Qi Chengyue held her from behind, burying his face in her neck, his voice trembling and unsteady.

“Jiang Yin, could you try to make me fall for you?”

“Jiang Yin, could you love me...?”

“Jiang Yin, don’t leave me.”

Jiang Yin had a secret: she was sick. Even getting close to Qi Chengyue’s skin gave her a tingling sensation. It seemed her condition was terminal.

Qi Chengyue held her. “Jiang Yin, depend on me a little more. I’m the one who needs you.”

Ever since the day he met her, he was the one who had been sick, hopelessly so.
