In 1933, the twenty-second year of the Republic of China, the ghost train entered Changsha, filled with corpses. The Nine Gates were shaken.

Chang Ge transmigrated into The Mystic Nine and acquired the Tomb-Exploring System of the Earth Gate.

He became a disciple of Wu Laogou, learning to read the earth and observe its energy, recognize evil spirits, and break mechanisms. On his very first tomb expedition, he obtained the body of a thousand-year-old Corpse King. Bullets could not pierce it, making him nearly invincible.

Zhang Haiqi: “A disciple of Master Wu? The greatest tomb raider of this age? Good. There’s a strange case here. Would you be available to investigate it, Mr. Chang Ge?”

Chang Ge: “Since Lord Buddha recommended me, of course I’m available.”
