Uncle Nine: The System Forces Me to Catch Ghosts, So I Make Them Famous

[Uncle Nine Fan Fiction] [Transmigration] [System] [Livestream] [Lighthearted Comedy] [Subverting Expectations] [Showing Off and Slapping Faces]

My soul transmigrated into a zombie-ridden world. Other people got monster-fighting Systems. I got a livestream camera.

The System said: You must go live before midnight tonight. The theme: real ghost hunting.

I said: Fine, but I'm not fighting ghosts. I'm making them stars.

The first job at Fuji Photo Studio's grand opening was to film an exorcism for the proprietress of a rice shop.

The ritual had barely begun when the rice jar tipped over, and the grains on the floor spelled out two words: Shi Jian.

The chat instantly exploded: [Director, where'd you find those extras? That veteran actor is incredible!] [Give the special effects team extra chicken legs tonight!]

Only I knew the truth: those weren't special effects. A real ghost had left a message.

Then things got out of hand:

A ghost from a theatrical troupe, Ah Feng, begged me to film the last scene of her life. Halfway through the performance, the real culprit's soul was dragged onto the stage by his own sins.

The Thirteenth Sister of Wan Chai came to see me, not to collect rent, but to ask for a stake in the business.

Even Uncle Nine sneaked into my shop late at night and handed me a camera from 1938, sealed with a Maoshan talisman. "It belonged to your grandfather."

I believe in just one thing: your Daoist sect worships talismans; I worship my audience.

The more my audience believes in me, the more ghosts I'm willing to kill.

At midnight, the System sounded again.

The Nanyang black-magic ghost king Peng had issued a challenge to Fuji.

I closed the quest list and smiled at the camera.

"Don't rush. Let's sign in first."
