Great Ming: I Had Just Breathed My Last When Old Zhu Went on a Rampage

In the thirteenth year of Hongwu, Empress Ma was critically ill, Crown Prince Zhu Biao was coughing up blood, and the entire Imperial Medical Academy was waiting to die.

Trainee physician Shen Yu bound himself to a Sacrifice System and resolutely performed a forbidden art in the main hall, trading his life for another!

“The foundations of the Great Ming are secure. Your servant must take his leave.”

After leaving those last words, Shen Yu bled from all seven orifices and died smiling in Zhu Yuanzhang’s arms.

The Hongwu Emperor went completely mad!

He was convinced that corrupt and incompetent court officials had driven the only true immortal capable of saving the Great Ming to his death!

The gates of the Hall of Supreme Harmony were sealed shut, and the Embroidered Uniform Guard was mobilized in full. With bloodshot eyes, Old Zhu drew the Son of Heaven’s sword.

“Divine Physician Shen is dead! Hu Weiyong, Li Shanchang, and every official in the court will be buried with him!”

Just as Old Zhu was about to behead the civil and military officials and offer their heads to Heaven, while the ministers were so terrified they wet themselves…

A loud bang came from the coffin during the state funeral.

Shen Yu, dressed in luxurious burial robes, kicked the coffin lid open and sat up with a sigh.

“Your Majesty, spare them! I think there’s still a chance to save me…”

Old Zhu stood there with his executioner’s blade in hand, stunned, while the entire court frantically kowtowed to give thanks.

From then on, the Great Ming’s style changed completely.

Every day, the officials feared Shen Yu sneezing more than Old Zhu flying into a rage.

Because whenever Shen Yu coughed, Old Zhu would execute a few ministers to bring good luck!

Meanwhile, through all kinds of reckless stunts, Shen Yu somehow transformed the Great Ming into an immortal dynasty that ruled the world, its sun never setting!
