Crayon Shin-chan: Kazama, I’m Over Here!

[Proud Elite × Scatterbrained Fool | Slow-Burning, Mutual Devotion | Everyone Grows and Heals | No Cheap Drama, No Out-of-Character Moments]

Kazamato Toru’s life was supposed to be a neat, perfect, flawless straight line of success.

Then Nohara Shinnosuke kept barging into his world, disrupting his plans and tearing apart his facade.

Throughout their three years of high school, Shinnosuke made him bristle with anger, give in helplessly, and quietly indulge him.

It wasn’t until they were attending different universities and it rained one night in Tokyo that he finally realized:

The noisiest person of all had long since filled every empty space in his life.

Shinnosuke doesn’t understand the rules of society or know how to sweet-talk anyone. He still loves singing his elephant song and dancing his butt dance.

He doesn’t even notice when younger girls from all over school chase after him. His eyes are always fixed on the stubborn, proud Kazamato Toru.

The grown-up world is full of schemes, pressure, and things beyond your control.

Kazamato stumbles through the workplace, his pride shattered.

Only when he finally looks back does he realize that the child who never grew up has been waiting for him all along.

Their youthful crush is never spoken aloud, while their grown-up companionship flows on, steady and unhurried.

I’m growing up. I’m maturing. I’ve seen all the world has to offer.

But I’ll always have a special place in my heart for you, from Kasukabe.
