I'm a Proper Lord, So Don't Bring Up Elven Beauties

“Your Majesty, the Dwarf Kingdom of Moer is willing to trade a large quantity of silver and grain for the Hall Iron Mine!”

Chu Sheng: “How could I commit such an act of treason? No deal!”

“Your Majesty, the Dwarf Kingdom of Moer says they'll also throw in a beautiful elf they captured in the North Mountain winter woods...”

Chu Sheng: “Wait, why didn't you say so earlier? Those dwarves are pretty sincere. Deal!”

Seriously, what kind of respectable lord does that?

Ceding territory, selling mines, allowing rebellions...

Every move seems utterly absurd.

And yet the territory of the Kingdom of Xiya keeps growing, its national strength keeps rising, and the number of beauties around Chu Sheng keeps increasing...

Everyone is dumbfounded.

“How did a useless lord like this become a legendary emperor?”
