Siheyuan: Xu Damao’s Perspective, Starting Out as a Villain

Seven days after launching the book, its saves were stuck at 560. I chose Xu Damao as the protagonist. He’s greedy, lecherous, and a braggart, but he lives like a real person. Qin Huairu clings to Silly Zhu for the sake of her three children, while Jia Zhangshi keeps an eye on her daughter-in-law to stop her from remarrying. The reckoning in this courtyard starts with a stolen chicken. I want to unfold all the wrinkles and show you how paper characters come to life. Can we hit a thousand saves? We’ll find out next Friday.
