The Grave Robbers' Chronicles: Ultimate Notes 2

Wu Sansheng has disappeared. All he left Wu Xie were three videotapes of unknown origin, a tortoise shell covered in strange symbols, and a warning: "Trust no one."

To find his Third Uncle, Wu Xie ventures deep into the Taklamakan Desert in Xinjiang with Wang Pangzi and Hei Xiazi, entering "Tamuto," a place that doesn't exist on any map. Buried beneath the yellow sands is more than a thousand-year-old tomb. There is also a "door beyond the door." The tortoise shell's directions, blood-red mercury revealing hidden shapes, a room that records memories in jade, an upside-down tree of light, and an unknown entity sleeping at the end of a spiral staircase: every mechanism points to a truth deliberately buried.

Third Uncle left behind three sentences, each one deadly. Wu Xie follows the clues, only to discover that his uncle laid not just a trail to follow, but a test. The ultimate secret behind the Bronze Door, an organization called "It," and secrets within Wu Xie himself that have yet to awaken are all waiting to fall into place in Tamuto's darkness. And when he finally reaches the heart of it all, he understands: what Third Uncle bought with his disappearance was an answer even he couldn't bear.

Beneath the Sand Sea, the door is open. Is there light inside, or an abyss?
