National Fate Survival: From the Start, I Picked Up a Cheetah

In Year 2 of the Blue Star calendar, a National Destiny Survival Game arrives.

One hundred and eighty countries each select a player. Every day, they are transported to another world to bring back supplies and sustain their nation’s fate.

Chen Feng, the Dragon Nation’s previous player, ranked among the top three in the world in overall strength, but was hunted down by a coalition of three nations.

His successor is an eighteen-year-old girl.

Everyone is waiting for the Dragon Nation to fall.

Until her first trip through the portal

She heads straight to the third floor of an abandoned hospital surrounded by zombies and carries back a box of unopened serum.

The global chat explodes: “??? How did she know?”

No one knows that she has a map of the other world before her eyes. It shows exactly where it’s safe, where it’s dangerous, and where the treasures are.

The second world is an ancient forest.

While everyone else avoids the beasts, an adult cheetah acknowledges her as its master. She names it “Shen Gongbao.”

From then on, while other players enter the other worlds only to die, she and Shen Gongbao follow the map, take shortcuts, and pick up gear, hitting the jackpot every time.

Later, players from several nations join forces to hunt her down, filling a conference room with tactical maps.

Lin Xi glances at the red dots on the map and pats the cheetah’s head.

“Come on, Shen Gongbao. Let’s take out their home base first.”

Then one day, four words appear in the deepest part of the map of the other world:

“Welcome home.”

Lin Xi freezes.
