Siheyuan: Back from the Army, Who Dares Touch My Daughter?

Siheyuan courtyard + period drama + no System + devoted dad + smart characters + decisive and ruthless + steady rise + the tides of an era.

Lin Weiguo returns to the capital after leaving the military and is assigned a home in the Red Star Courtyard. Before he can even settle in, someone places a sweet little girl in his arms: his own daughter.

It's 1975. Meat requires ration coupons, cooking oil is measured by the ounce, and there's no golden finger or pocket dimension. How is he supposed to raise this precious little girl without a mother?

Worse still, the courtyard is crawling with vultures.

To secure someone to care for him in his old age, Yi Zhonghai uses moral pressure to demand that Lin give his daughter away. Xu Damao conspires with Deputy Director Li, spending his days plotting to report Lin for misconduct. Qin Huairu shows up every day with red-rimmed eyes, keeping tabs on the milk powder and fine grains Lin gets for his daughter.

Lin Weiguo gives a cold smile. These hands have held a gun, and he knows just how to use factory regulations, the law, and an iron fist to deal with the vultures in this courtyard!

You want my home? Go think it over in the security office's detention room! You want to steal my child's food? I'll send you straight to juvenile detention!

In this turbulent era, watch as the iron-fisted dad Lin Weiguo, without a golden finger, keeps pace with every beat of the times and spoils his daughter rotten, rising against all odds to become the uncrowned king of both the courtyard and the age!
