Northeastern Spirit Hall: My Offerings Aren’t Human

I, Zhou Tie, was born under the ill-fated Seven Killings star, with the Lone Star shining over my fate.

On the night I was born, a hundred snakes came to pay homage, and the King of Hell's invitation was delivered right to our doorstep.

With the protection of the immortals, I somehow managed to live to eighteen, only to turn around and bring about my grandfather's death.

The iron box he left behind revealed a secret I never wanted to know.

To escape this cursed fate, I set out on the path of a spirit medium.

From then on, I consorted with ghosts and walked alongside demons.

I have encountered lovesick female ghosts tormented by passion, and battled sinister sorcerers who steal others' luck to prolong their own lives.

I can help the wrongfully dead clear their names, yet I was powerless to save a girl born with the fate of a child destined to die young.

The good and evil of the living world, the joys and sorrows of the underworld: I thought I had seen it all.

But when my spirit altar was sealed and I lost contact with every immortal, I realized that true terror was only just beginning.

Who, exactly, had laid this inescapable trap behind the scenes?
