(Strong female lead in a historical setting + Republican-era romance + bandit stronghold in western Liaoning + revenge for her father)
At the end of the Qing dynasty, the great bandit chief Du Lisan was lured to his death by Zhang Zuolin. Qing soldiers slaughtered his entire family, leaving only his daughter, Du Nianying, who was rescued by her wet nurse.
From then on, nine-year-old Du Nianying wandered among the strongholds scattered across the mountains and rivers of western Liaoning, eventually becoming a renowned heroine of the region.
She had just one purpose in life: to avenge her father.
After Zhang Zuolin was killed in the bombing at Huanggutun in Fengtian, she finally let go of her hatred. From then on, she devoted herself to her country and became one of the first to charge onto the battlefield against the Japanese.
This was my first time trying to write a novel about the Republic of China. At first I thought I would not be used to it, but as I wrote, I suddenly felt it.
It seems that I have been connected with the fate of the protagonist in the story. Maybe this is the joy of writing novels!
If you think the author's writing is good, fellow passers-by remember to like it!
It would be best if you could comment.

The plot is touching and the story is flesh-and-blood. It is worth reading.
