Synopsis

[Forsaken by Heaven + Rule Talent + Master's Hidden Affliction + Withered Lotus Pact + Defying the Dao to Build the Foundation]

Lin Qi is abandoned by the Heavenly Dao and trapped at the third layer of Qi Refining for a whole year.

Then he discovers he can see the cracks in the rules of heaven and earth.

With the three rules of Stagnation, Lock, and Penetration at his command, he is invincible among those of the same level and slaughters stronger foes like dogs.

He makes a name for himself in the sect competition.

In the secret-realm trial, he pulls out the anchor and cuts away its roots.

His master, Su Qinghan, suffers from a hidden affliction tied to her ten-thousand-year immortal bone. Only the mysterious lotus stamen in the Withered Lotus Secret Realm can cure it completely.

The three-year pact is drawing near, and the outer-realm main anchor has appeared.

He must pull out the anchor and cut away its roots in the secret realm, conceal his trump cards during the sect competition, and reach the late Foundation Establishment stage within three years.

One wrong step, and he's dead.

The forsaken one defies the Dao to establish his foundation, and the master of rules makes his stunning debut.

The Heavenly Dao abandoned me, so I shall shatter all laws with the rules.
