Reborn and Remarried with My Mother, the Stoic Commander Spoils Me Senseless!

Su Mian, a renowned traditional Chinese medicine doctor, dies suddenly at the operating table. When she opens her eyes, she has become a village girl in the 1980s, beaten and berated by everyone around her. Just as she’s about to unleash her fury on her vicious relatives, her village-woman mother, Zhao Yulan, swings a hoe first. “Touch my daughter, and I’ll split you in two!”

Mother and daughter team up to take on the village bullies, and happen to rescue a severely injured officer, Huo Weiguo.

To repay their kindness and put an end to the gossip, Huo Weiguo proposes to Zhao Yulan on the spot. “Marry me, and bring your daughter to the capital!”

Su Mian thinks the military compound will be a place of comfort and plenty, but it turns out to be a den of wolves.

Her stepsister mocks her, the officers’ families ostracize her, and the commander is a gloomy man.

Su Mian smiles. With the “Thirteen Ghost Gate Needles” in hand, she specializes in dealing with anyone who refuses to behave!

Her mother takes the fight to everyone, outtalking all the officers’ wives!

Su Mian saves the commander with a single needle and kicks a scheming green tea girl to the curb.

But why is the gaze of the male lead, Huo Yanci, a volatile man with paralyzed legs, becoming more and more unsettling?

One dark and stormy night, the sickly, possessive Huo Yanci suddenly rises from his wheelchair and pins her in a corner, his voice hoarse and wild:

“Mianmian, now that you’ve healed my legs, you’re responsible for me for the rest of your life.”
