Siheyuan: The Blind Welder Settles Scores with the Whole Yard from the Start

[Siheyuan] [Period Drama Ensemble] [Karma Comes Due] [No Getting Dragged Into Their Mess]

After transmigrating to a Siheyuan in 1961, Chen Yue is left an orphan from the start. Someone clubs him over the head and blinds him, turning him into the “blind little pauper” in the eyes of the courtyard’s vermin.

He lies weakly in bed, while the whole courtyard crowds at his door to discuss how to divide up his house, take his compensation money, and seize his job!

Yi Zhonghai mouths benevolence but really wants to prey on an orphan; Jia Zhangshi barges in to grab things and steal food; Yan Bugui borrows tools and never returns them, even scheming to take his old clock; Qin Huairu shows up with a bowl of watery, oil-free noodles, hoping to get something for nothing!

Facing a hellish start, Chen Yue activates the [Karmic Retribution System]!

Whenever he encounters malice and schemes, it immediately locks onto the culprits and settles the score, returning up to tenfold punishment. It can even reward him with abundant supplies and repair his damaged eyes!

Jia Zhangshi steals his white flour and cured meat? She trips outside and breaks her leg on the spot, winning herself a three-month bedridden package!

Yan Bugui schemes to take an orphan’s property? He gets hit by a bicycle as soon as he steps outside, losing money, shedding blood, and making a complete fool of himself!

Silly Zhu brings leftover cafeteria food to guilt-trip him? Back in the kitchen, he cuts vegetables and slices right to the bone, needing stitches and losing wages!

Yi Zhonghai gathers the entire courtyard to hold a public denunciation and force everyone to contribute? Chen Yue calls over the subdistrict office staff and tears off his hypocritical mask in front of everyone!

Holding his white cane, Chen Yue sits in his room and sneers: “I’m blind, so it’s only reasonable if I hit back a little harder and take a few people down, right?”
