Great Qin: The First Emperor Seeks an Immortality Elixir, and You Give Him Amoxicillin

Su Chen transmigrates into the Great Qin, arriving just as the Dune Incident unfolds and the First Emperor lies at death's door.

Zhao Gao presses a sword to his neck. “Physician, if His Majesty dies, you’ll be buried with him!”

To save his own skin, Su Chen thinks fast and feeds the First Emperor a modern miracle drug, amoxicillin, claiming it is an elixir.

He plans to save the First Emperor, fake his own death, and flee to Jiangnan to take it easy and slack off.

But to his surprise, Ying Zheng, lying on his sickbed, awakens the ability to read minds!

“May Your Majesty live ten thousand years! The Great Qin will surely last for ten thousand generations!” Su Chen says with an ingratiating smile.

[This is hilarious. You know the Great Qin is doomed, right? Zhao Gao will soon forge the imperial edict, and that wastrel Hu Hai will run the empire into the ground in just three years!]

Ying Zheng bolts upright from his deathbed. “Guards, chop Zhao Gao to pieces!”

From that day on, everything changes completely.

Su Chen wants to resign, but the First Emperor appoints him chief minister of the Great Qin. Su Chen wants to lie flat, but the First Emperor hears his thoughts and forces him to build firearms, establish the imperial examination system, and create a fleet for great sea voyages.

Years later, with the Great Qin’s cannons aimed at the walls of the Roman Empire, Su Chen is stunned.

“Your Majesty, I only wanted to slack off. How did I accidentally turn the Great Qin into an empire on which the sun never sets?”
