Tomb Raiding: Is My Second Persona Hei Xiazi?

Lin Mian, an overworked office drone, dies suddenly after staying up all night to finish a proposal. When she wakes, she discovers she has transmigrated into The Grave Robbers' Chronicles as a second personality inside Hei Xiazi.

By day, she is the “silent infiltrator” suppressed by Hei Xiazi. Once midnight passes, she takes over his body. At first, she trembles with fear. This is Hei Xiazi, who lives by the edge of a blade and has enough enemies to stretch all the way to Paris! But then she discovers that while Hei Xiazi spends his days stabbing people, at night she sings “New Treasure Island” at a KTV so loudly that all of Changsha shakes. She loses it: “Big bro, you’re so cool by day. Is it really appropriate to be such a wild thing at night?!”

Hei Xiazi is even more distraught. He wakes up to find himself standing at a night-market barbecue stall in a maid outfit, clutching twenty skewers of grilled kidneys he hasn’t paid for. Gritting his teeth, he wrests back control of his body and chases Lin Mian for eighteen blocks. “Can you act normal for once?!”

Until one tomb expedition leaves them no choice but to work together to escape. Hei Xiazi says coldly, “Once we’re out, I’m killing you.”

Lin Mian replies inside his head, “Sure. First, make sure you get out alive.”

At that moment, Hei Xiazi suddenly thinks that having a noisy nuisance inside his body might not be so bad after all.

And for the first time, Lin Mian realizes that this seemingly carefree blind man carries a burden far heavier than she ever imagined.
