Great Tang: My Seven-Year-Old Daughter Demands a Dowry from the Start

In the third year of Zhenguan, Princess Changle is to be married.

Lu Jingyuan swoops down from the heavens to steal the bride, then whisks Changle away on a steel behemoth. The whole empire is thrown into an uproar!

Eight years later, on the distant continent of Australia, an isolated land across the sea, a new empire called the Great Ming quietly rises, an empire where the sun never sets.

Railways, factories, armored steamships... its technology is a full thousand years ahead of the Tang dynasty!

With Changle’s birthday approaching, seven-year-old Lu Youwei wants to prepare a gift for her mother, so she secretly swipes the Great Ming Imperial Navy’s tiger tally.

The next day, whistles blare beside the Wei River!

An invincible iron fleet steams upriver, and a single main-gun blast blows the gates of Chang’an to pieces!

A million soldiers line up in terror. Li Shimin glares furiously. “What manner of demon dares invade my Tang empire?!”

A little girl stands at the bow, holding a megaphone and calling out in a childish voice.

“You’re Li Shimin, right?”

“Hand over the dowry you gave my mother back then!”

“Not one copper short, or I’ll buy Chang’an today and set off fireworks with it!”

Li Shimin is dumbfounded, and the whole court goes mad!

Far away in Taiji Palace, Li Yuan rolls on the floor laughing. “What a bold little girl! No wonder she’s my great-granddaughter!”

Lu Jingyuan rubs his forehead helplessly. “Sweetheart, I only asked you to collect what we’re owed. I didn’t tell you to destroy the Tang dynasty!”
