Siheyuan: Sent to Seek Relatives, I Start Out Starving in an Alley

The bitter wind whipped snow into my face, and my fingertips trembled in the icy air. The original owner had come to seek out a distant relative, Yi Zhonghai, but froze to death at the entrance to this alley before he could find him. I took over this body and had just sorted through the memories when I discovered a huge supermarket in my mind. Its shelves were piled high with Eight-Treasure Porridge, but I couldn't take any of it. It cost money. My pockets were emptier than my face was clean, so I lay on the frozen ground catching my breath and first tried to figure out how to earn my very first penny.
