Lord Pei, Your Online Love Is a Metaphysics Expert

The young Taoist Shen Zhouzhou sneaks a bite of the offerings and is struck by heavenly lightning. When she wakes, she has become a gold-digging woman who scams men for money through online dating using stolen photos.

The original owner cast her net far and wide to rake in cash, and even had the audacity to place a love curse on Pei Yanchen, the heir apparent of the capital’s most powerful circle. He was unharmed, but the original owner suffered the karmic backlash and dropped dead on the spot.

Now Shen Zhouzhou has inherited this body, along with a deadly mess of debts.

If her secret identity is exposed, she’ll die.

If she fails to break the curse, she’ll die too.

To stay alive, she has no choice but to pretend to be the original owner and keep this cold, ruthless heir apparent happy, while using her knowledge of the occult to build merit, clear her karma, and escape her fatal predicament.

This online romance is bound to crash sooner or later.

But in the end, the first to have her secret identity exposed may not be the loser. The one who falls in love first is.
