Dream of the Red Chamber: The Pearl Returns

Jia Zhu didn't die, or rather, he came back to life with a different soul.

A bowl of poison, a brawl, a punishment that left him kneeling: every one of them was meant to kill him. But he is determined to pass the imperial examinations and turn the tide, pulling the decaying Rongguo House back from the brink of ruin. He doesn't just want to survive. He wants Daiyu to stop crying, Baochai to have more than an empty life of waiting, and Yuanchun to avoid fading away... He wants everyone to live well.
