Genshin Impact: After I Turned into a Fox, I Wooed Ying

Su Tang, male, twenty-one, a struggling web novelist.

Writing novels through the night, grinding away at Genshin Impact, and living on instant noodles: the standard three-part college student lifestyle. After dying suddenly, he transmigrates. He thought he’d get to live out an overpowered hero fantasy, but when he looks down, he sees tiny hands and feet, white fox ears, and a fluffy tail trailing behind him.

He’s become a fox-eared little girl.

And, as if that weren’t absurd enough, a cold, mechanical voice sounds in his head:

[System activated. Main quest: Turn the Traveler, Lumine, from straight to gay.]

Su Tang: “I’m a straight guy. You want me to flirt with girls?!”

System: “Right, buddy. You’re absolutely right.”

To survive in Teyvat, Su Tang sets up a food stall outside Mondstadt. Its sign bears four big characters: “Genghis Chicken.” With his all-purpose catchphrase, “Right, buddy. You’re absolutely right,” and the generous deal of unlimited refills for 199 Mora, the little fox girl becomes a sensation throughout Mondstadt.

A year later, the Traveler, Lumine, falls from the sky.

Su Tang rubs his little hands together and flashes an innocent smile. “Welcome to Teyvat! Want to try some Genghis Chicken? It’s only 199 Mora!”

Looking at the fox-eared little girl smiling brightly before her, Lumine can’t help feeling that something is a little off.

What she doesn’t know is that a long-planned “make-her-gay scheme” has quietly begun.
