Journey to the West: I Found a Golden Centipede, and It's the Hundred-Eyed Demon Lord

At Yellow Flower Temple on the Western Ox Continent, six-year-old child acolyte Lu Zhao returns from playing in the water and pinches a drowsy golden centipede out of a crack in the stone. When his master sees the creature in his palm, the incense nearly slips from his hand. In a low voice, he tells Lu Zhao to put it back. Lu Zhao sets the centipede into the crack. It curls into a ball, as if turning over a dream that has yet to be finished.
