I Opened a Game Server in the Cultivation World

[Wild fantasy premise + System story + Fourth Calamity + ensemble cast of players + parody + lighthearted comedy + cultivation + management + subversion of tropes]

After dying from overwork, planner Lin transmigrates to the world of cultivation. From the start, he has a "developer backend" panel that lets him see everyone's levels, health bars, and hidden quests. It turns out ascension is a wipe-and-restart test, tribulation is a mandatory update, and inner demons are an anti-addiction system.

He exploits the game mechanics to skim rewards from the Heavenly Dao while leading a group of "players" with delightfully bizarre styles:

A reincarnated former top-ranked player, a wealthy fairy who spends lavishly, and a demonic cultivator who farms for profit.

Together, they turn the proper world of cultivation into a massive online game. Then one day, a red warning flashes across the screen: [Abnormal GM privileges detected. Heavenly Dao administrator has logged in.]
