The Su family went bankrupt.
To keep her safe, Su Ruan’s parents packed up their pampered, delicate daughter and sent her to a military base in the far reaches of the northwest, a thousand miles away, placing her in the care of Lu Zheng, the boy next door she hadn’t seen in seven years.
Seven years earlier, the young Lu Zheng had accidentally stained Su Ruan’s favorite white dress. The delicate girl had cried buckets and was so angry she refused to speak to him again.
Seven years later, Su Ruan stood at the military base’s gate with a battered suitcase, sand blowing all around her. She looked at the broad-shouldered, long-legged man in a stern military uniform and was so frightened that her eyes reddened. She didn’t even dare call him “Brother Lu Zheng.”
Everyone at the base knew that Regiment Commander Lu was a humorless living demon who hated women who cried.
Just as everyone expected the delicate young girl to be scolded into tears, the cold-faced officer took her suitcase with one arm, awkwardly wiped her tears with his rough fingertips, and said in a hoarse voice, “Don’t cry. I’ll make it up to you with dresses for the rest of your life.”
You can watch it but I don't recommend it very much. It's a bit old and many words are repeated several times, but overall it's okay.
It feels like the female protagonist exists just to charm the male protagonist. There have been several similar plots. The female protagonist shows off her strength and screws up things - the male protagonist is injured and the mess becomes a mess - the female protagonist is touched.
It feels really okay, very sweet
Not bad, I read more than ten chapters and it felt so sweet.
Nice! The male protagonist has been secretly in love with the female protagonist for seven years. The relationship between the two is so sweet. The author's writing is super good!!!
I've seen this episode before
I can only say two words: "good looking"
