Yun Buyu transmigrates.
The System tells him to save a future villain, and he figures it shouldn't be too hard.
But after he works himself to the bone taking care of the man, the System says the mission is complete and sends him home. He hasn't even settled in before the sky splits open, and the villain he successfully saved goes dark again and drags him right back.
Yun Buyu doesn't understand.
They try again. He works himself to the bone taking care of the man, gets sent home again, the sky splits open again, and he's dragged back again.
At last, Yun Buyu can't help asking, “What do you want from me?”
Jiang Huan: “Don't leave.”
Yun Buyu: “But I came here to save you. Once you're better, I have to go.”
Jiang Huan is silent for a moment. “Then I won't get better.”
