Rule Horror: The Corruption of Teyvat

Outsider horrors tear apart the false sky and descend upon Teyvat.

The ley lines are corrupted, and memories are rewritten. Once-vibrant characters are twisted and warped by their obsessions. A false Venti endlessly plays melodies that are half true and half false. Zhongli is fixated on signing contracts designed to ensnare and tempt. The Grand Narukami Shrine is no longer a place to pray for peace. There is madness among Sumeru's scholars, a bizarre theater in Fontaine, endless war in Natlan, rules that bind in Nod-Krai, and intrigue and deceit in Snezhnaya. Across the seven nations, scraps of survival advice, impossible to tell from truth or lies, lie scattered everywhere.

Zhuang Qingran, an ordinary person from the real world, suddenly arrives.

He has no Vision and cannot wield the elements, but as an outsider, his perception cannot be altered by the ley lines. He is also the only one who can distinguish the horrors' forged rules from the real ones.

False rules are posted throughout the streets and alleys. Breaking them will not kill you at once. Instead, you will be slowly corrupted, lose yourself, and become a puppet of the horrors.

Avoiding old friends who have been twisted, distinguishing true survival guidelines from false ones, and moving between the collapsing nations, Zhuang Qingran struggles to stay alive as he searches for the source of the horrors.

He does not need to defeat each character who has already been corrupted. His task is to tear apart the entire set of twisted rules woven by the horrors, awaken the corrupted souls, and save Teyvat from the brink of destruction.
