Summoners Are the Worst Class? I Summon the Mythical Sun Wukong

In an age of awakened professions, ghosts and monsters are returning. Summoner is widely considered the most useless profession, bar none!

That's because a summoner's own stats can never improve. They're fragile as glass, and if an enemy gets close and kills them in one blow, their summons vanish too.

Worse still, summoners can only contract the lowest-tier ghosts and monsters. They're not even fit to carry a run-of-the-mill warrior's shoes.

At the profession awakening ceremony, Yang Tao awakens multiple profession traits. But to everyone's shock, he chooses not a mage or a warrior, but the most useless profession of all: Summoner!

Faced with a tidal wave of mockery and accusations, Yang Tao says nothing.

What no one knows is that he comes from another world, and his golden finger can summon legendary figures from its mythology: Sun Wukong, Yang Jian, Nezha, Taiyi Zhenren...

They also don't know that with every summon, Yang Tao permanently gains some of that mythological figure's cultivation, divine abilities, and spells!

When Yang Tao casts his first summoning spell, golden light fills the sky, and a colossal staff plunges down from the heavens!

"Your Great Sage is here!"

Seeing the fiery, armored stone monkey with golden-banded staff in hand and fiery eyes, everyone who had just mocked Yang Tao is left dumbfounded!

Wait... What kind of summon is that?!

And... why is his own strength visibly skyrocketing?!
