A sinister fog shrouds Blue Star. The uncanny run rampant, and supernatural Sequences decide who lives and dies.
While everyone hunts the uncanny, fights over Sequence resources, and tears one another apart in a ruthless rat race, Lin Yan awakens the one and only forbidden Path of Medicine. With his naked eye, he can see the Sequence afflictions within every living thing.
He can heal humanity’s shattered Sequences and soothe the frenzied source of calamities.
He saves Su Wan, a healer of minds at the edge of despair; recruits Lu Linshuang, a battle goddess who slays evil; joins forces with Jiang Zhiyue, a thousand-year-old uncanny spirit; and teams up with Wen Qi, messenger of all things.
By stitching together the Sequences of life and death and keeping all factions in check, he uses medicine to quell the chaos and calamities of a troubled age.
He will save the living, heal the uncanny, and punish the wicked!
