I Reincarnated as Yiping: Bound to the On-Screen Comment System from the Start

On the day Fifth Prince and Zhihua get married, Xiaoyanzi decides to escape from the palace.

But just as she steps out the gate, a carriage hits her and sends her flying.

When she opens her eyes again, she has become Lu Yiping.

Outside, rain pours down as Lu Zhenhua raises his whip to strike her.

A line of on-screen comments suddenly floats before her eyes.

[Here comes the iconic scene. Yiping asks for money and gets beaten. The angst-filled drama is about to begin.]

Xiaoyanzi is furious.

She grabs the whip, wrests it from him, and slams Lu Zhenhua right into the tea table.

The comments explode.

[Wait, how does she know martial arts?]

[Lu Yiping doesn’t fight like that!]

Later, He Shuhuan tries to grab her by the shoulder and gaze deeply into her eyes.

She uses a joint lock and pins him in the mud.

Du Fei stares in shock, camera in hand.

Watching him foolishly chase after Ruping, Xiaoyanzi thinks he looks just like the way she used to foolishly chase after Yongqi.

She decides to save this poor fool.

As she goes about saving him, Du Fei stops pursuing Ruping.

He starts chasing after her instead.

Later, after a car accident, He Shuhuan wakes up with Fifth Prince in his body.

He kneels outside the Great Shanghai theater and cries, “Xiaoyanzi, I was wrong.”

Xiaoyanzi takes Du Fei’s hand.

“Mr. He, you’ve got the wrong person. My name is Lu-Yi-Ping.”
