The World Inn: My System Is a Little Fake

[I'm new to writing, so please go easy on me]

[System(?) + Possibly Pure Love + Chuunibyou Passion + Ensemble Cast + Farming + Conquest]

The amnesiac young man Ling Xi woke up in an inn. His memories of the past were gone, replaced by a System in his sea of consciousness that didn't seem like a System at all.

"Ding-ding, ding-ding, ding-dong~ The Strongest Inn System, reporting for duty!"

That was the first thing Ling Xi heard the System say, and the beginning of his transformation into "a hundred thousand whys."

Why do I have to clean the inn as soon as I wake up?

Why is the quest reward ten minutes of rest?

Why did I point at a shapeshifting snake demon and call her a waiter?!

Why pass off water as aged wine?

Why can't I keep the guests' tips?

Why do I have to go adventuring when I run an inn?

Why are the Strongest Inn System's quests about conquering cities and territory?!

Why do I have to fight to rule the world?

Why... why are there so many whys?!

Looking back all of a sudden, Ling Xi was startled to realize that he had become a notorious rebel who ruled a territory of his own.

So, would he rather be a little innkeeper, or the only emperor in the world? Should he live a quiet, orderly life, or make a glorious mark on history?

A turbulent age was on the horizon. Heroes emerged from every corner of the land: the old dynasty in the Central Plains, the White Lotus Sect of the Eastern Sea, the ancient demon court of the Southern Border, the Yellow Turban Army of the Western Desert, the Dragon Soul Gang of the Northern Lands... Forces from every quarter were on the move.

Ling Xi couldn't make sense of the world's power struggles, but he suddenly realized that many people drifted through life, their lives worth no more than grass, while many others acted with impunity, their original ideals long forgotten.

Confronted by the roars of demons and the questions of ghosts and gods, Ling Xi pleaded from the bottom of his heart: "Please let me kill this age of chaos for the sake of the world."
